TSSAA football playoff predictions after Week 8

The TSSAA released their playoff predictions after Week 6 of the regular season. These are put out by the TSSAA, and not something that we at The Jackson Sun came up with. We understand that these predictions do not always include the fact that the top 2 finishers in each district are guaranteed a playoff spot. But here is what we have:

Class 1A

Quad 3

No. 1 Huntingdon would get a bye
No. 2 Clarksville Academy would get a bye
No. 3 Collinwood would host No. 6 McEwen
No. 4 Nashville Christian would host No. 5 Jo Byrns

This mostly looks the same at last week except for a No. 3 and No. 4 switch and McEwen coming in a No. 6.

Quad 4

No. 1 West Carroll would get a bye
No. 2 Union City would get a bye
No. 3 Lake County would host No. 6 South Fulton
No. 4 Halls would host No. 5 Gleason

Halls moved up from No. 6 to push the other two teams down a spot.

Class 2A

Quad 3

No. 1 Adamsville would get a bye
No. 2 Mt. Pleasant would get a bye
No. 3 Houston County would host No. 6 White House-Heritage
No. 4 Forrest would host No. 5 Loretto

Adamsville moves back to the No. 1 spot in Quad 3 after spending last week as a team in Quad 4.

Quad 4

No. 1 Dresden would get a bye
No. 2 Westwood would get a bye
No. 3 Peabody would host No. 6 Booker T. Washington
No. 4 Humboldt would host No. 5 TCA

TCA is in the playoffs as the 2 seed out of 15-A, but as a 2 seed, TCA would be guaranteed a home playoff game. Booker T. Washingtonis also in the playoffs this week. Peabody moved up from No. 6.

Class 3A

Quad 4

No. 1 South Gibson would host No. 8 Manassas
No. 2 Milan would host No. 7 JCM
No. 3 Fairview would host No. 6 Lewis County
No. 4 Hickman County would host No. 5 Camden

Fairview is back in the quad after being in Quad 3 the past two weeks. JCM fell from No. 4.

No. 1 Lexington would host No. 8 South Side
No. 2 White House would host No. 7 Chester County
No. 3 Crockett County would host No. 6 David Lipscomb
No. 4 Sycamore would host No. 5 Liberty

Lexington is now No. 1 after Dyersburg moved ot Quad 4. Crockett County moved over from a No. 5 in Quad 4 to a No. 3 in Quad 3. Liberty moved up two spots from No. 7. South Side is currently in the playoffs.

Quad 4

No. 1 Covington would host No. 8 Raleigh Egypt
No. 2 Mitchell would host No. 7 Hillcrest
